Abstract:With the appropriate handling of electronic information, we are able to break down, analyze and disclose the massive information in any way desired. However, if the information is not properly handled, the material obtained becomes only a data dump, risking downgrade of content value as well as losing the reliance or the trust of its users. This essay takes the making of FAQ as an example to discuss the importance of choosing and accumulating the important information. The materials should always reflect client needs, which must be consumed and monitored by people. No matter how fast or accurately the system can process the information, it is important to remember that the human element is critical in developing efficient and effective contents.

Abstract:Our working conditions are always restricted in some way or other. Therefore, making the best use of limited working staff and shortening the time for take over are crucial issues in order to produce as fruitful a result as possible. What influences job efficiency most can be manuals. The trouble, however, is the fact that manuals are not necessarily utilized so well as they should be. Why is it so difficult to put manuals into practice? What aspects of manuals are overlooked in real working situations? It is not too much to say that it is instructors, who directly perform OJT, that determine the degree of skill development of new staff. The primary purposes of this paper are, first, to make clear the main points instructors should bear in mind, and, second, to account for, referring to actual cases, how to make useful manuals and how to effectively take over so as to bring the ideal result.
